isocertified.co.uk is an independent guide to ISO certification in the UK. It is published by Domain Farm Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13544286).
What we are not
We are not ISO, UKAS or a certification body, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any of them. We do not use their logos. We do not sell certification, take quote requests or pass your details to anyone.
How we source figures
- Every cost and timescale figure is quoted from a page we actually read, named on that page with the date we read it.
- If a figure comes from a seller of consultancy rather than an auditor, we say so.
- If nobody publishes a number, we say that, and show what drives it. We do not estimate.
- Older articles are shown with their dates and flagged.
How the directory is built
By hand, from each certification body’s own website. We list a body for a standard only when a page on its own site describes it providing certification to that standard. We do not copy the UKAS register: UKAS’s site is copyright UKAS and its robots file disallows the search pages that hold the data. For accreditation, we link you to UKAS.
How it may be paid for
At present the site earns nothing. In future, certification bodies may be able to pay for something clearly labelled, such as a featured listing. Nothing will change what the guides say, and any paid element will be marked as such. We will not run a form that promises you quotes.
Corrections
If a figure is stale or wrong, tell us.
Editorial policy
Who edits it. The guide is published by Domain Farm Ltd and edited by Sam Allcock, who decides what is covered and approves changes. He is not a certification body or an auditor, and this is an independent editorial guide, not advice on which body to choose.
How figures are sourced. Costs, timescales and directory facts come from pages we actually read: each certification body’s own website, GOV.UK, and a small number of named providers and consultancies. Each page lists its sources and the date we read them. A figure from a seller of consultancy rather than an auditor is labelled as such. Where nothing is published, we say so and do not estimate.
Dates. “Last checked” on a page is the date we last re-read its sources. We change it only when we have re-checked, not when we edit wording.
Corrections. Anyone can use the corrections form or write to hello@isocertified.co.uk. Certification bodies listed in the directory can check, add to or remove their own entry using a personal link we send them. We check each correction against the source before changing a page, and a body’s own answers are shown as “Confirmed by the body” and dated.
Independence. We take no money for listings, run no quote form, use no affiliate links and are not affiliated with ISO, UKAS or any certification body. If that ever changes, any paid element will be clearly labelled and will not alter what the guides say.
