What we collect
Only what you type into the corrections form: the page you name, your message, and an email address if you give one. We also record your IP address and the time of the request so we can block abuse. We keep a note of the correction for up to 12 months, then delete it.
What we do with it
We use it to check and fix the page, and to reply if you left an email. We do not sell it, add it to a list or pass it to certification bodies.
Your rights
Ask to see, correct or delete your details by emailing hello@isocertified.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Certification bodies we list
The directory lists certification bodies, which are businesses. We compile each entry from information the body publishes on its own website, with a link to the page we used. We hold no personal data about people in those bodies beyond the business contact details they publish. We email a body once, at the general enquiries address it publishes, with a personal link to a short form where it can check, correct or add to its entry. Anything it types is stored on our server outside the public website and used only to update its entry. We do not sell or share it, and we take no money for listings. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in running an accurate public guide to businesses. These are business-to-business contacts at published addresses, so the email is a one-off and not marketing, and it tells the body how to be removed. A body can correct its entry, or have it removed and its answers erased, at any time using the link in that email or by writing to hello@isocertified.co.uk. We keep a note that it asked to be removed so that we never add it back.
