What to do
- If you are certifying for the first time, ask which edition your audit will use.
- If you hold an ISO 9001:2015 certificate, ask your body for its transition timetable and any extra audit time.
- Do not pay for a gap analysis from anyone who cannot say which edition it covers.
What we could not source
We could not source the exact ISO publication date for ISO 9001:2026 from ISO’s own site (it blocked our reader), so we do not state one.
